Full disc and sunspot region from Jan 8th

Post by AJamesB »

Finally back home after visiting family for the holidays, I hope everyone passed them well!

It was a beautiful morning for imaging, and I was able to try out a different location to see if I could get better results. But ended up getting out their late, at around 11am, so as usual seeing was starting to decline. Looked great at first though, so I think the new site has potential.

Full disk is asi294+ROI, and sunspot region is asi294+4x+ROI, on lunt 100single stack

Lovely shots and nice to see the mobile setup. I hope your spot pays off with good seeing.

I'm jealous of the observing spot, lol. Nice captures though.
