Rivers of fire

Post by AndiesHandyHandies »

Hi

Lugged the 127mm F7.5 Triplet Meade out.

Tried the Quarks on it and OK.

Put the PST Mod2 on. F10 so 90mm. Collimator, PST Etalon, Gap, Re-Focusser, KG3-UV/IR, Red 25A, Circ-Polariser, gap, Baader 7nm, Omega 1.5A tilted, bino-viewers 16x

I can see the prominences and lots of surface details so between the Prom and Chromo Quarks.

Rare black background so must be clear.

Just noticed these Rivers of Fire.

I noticed these as well but I could not see them so clearly because of rough seeing. Good seeing and the SMII90 would have rendered me an excellent view :-(
