One and only of the day 14th May 2022
Opened up the observatory this morning under cloudless blue sky, aimed my air spaced Helios 150 f/8 achromat at the Sun just after 10:30 UT and after having focused I got the first 2000 frame SER with the Lunt CaK B12 module and QHY5III 178M at 10:34 UT and then twenty minutes in the limb of the Sun was boiling, focusing was nigh on impossible, but I persevered thinking the seeing would settle..What do I know?? So this is the only image of the day showing yet another transformation in the sunspot group AR 3007 as it creeps across the face of the Sun. Stacked in Autostakkert and sharpened using ImPPG and finished in Photoshop CS2.

WoW, Alun. That's an impressive view of AR13007 in the light of Calcium II K.
Is your Helios 150 achromat of Chinese manufacture?

Thank you all for your kind comments
James, yes it is Chinese made and is the same scope as the Celestron C6-R with the collimatable objective cell.

Great shot Alun. Are you using any Barlow or telecentric to get this close ?

Thank you Terry
Thank you Franco,no Barlow nor telecentric used, just prime focus of the scope which has a focal length of 1200mm and using ROI on the camera in
Firecapture.
