This mornings Sun - plenty of flare action!

Grettings Solar Friends,

A front is moving through and seeing was not ideal, but the sky was clear. I decieded to to Halpha today because last weekend was white light! there is just not enough time to do it all. If another wavelength comes along to shoot the Sun it, Im going to have to retire early so I can just spend all day processing images. ;)

All images Lunt LS100, DMK51 processed best 25 frames out of 1200 in Autostakkert.

The full disk with the Antares .5x focal reducer:



The next bunch of images are with the 3x klee shortie barlow. The best Hydrogen alpha barlow in the world.













Thanks for looking. I hope we all get some aurora soon, the suns flaring is constant.

Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)

Thanks everyone! the Klee barlow is hard to find, the company that sells them - University optics is now run out of someones home. They sell some kind of barlow, I dont know if its a Klee. Check out thier web site.
