CBSAP at Grant Park Atlanta, GA. With Mr Ramsden Aug 24
Hot Humid day in Atlanta at the Grant Park Summer Shade Festavel but a great time with Stephen and the folks that came by. Anita and I drove over from Alabama . The Sun put on a great show and at one point Stephen told me there was a small flare , Proms were great views as well. My wife took most of the pics here as there was a steady flow of folks stopping by.

This was my 50th event this year, Im getting old...
James did all the work while I sat under the shade suffering from heat exhaustion...lol Nice to have a little help every now and then. James is a solar machine.
I was able to dig up a brand new PGR Scorpion camera, an industrial firewire 400/800 cable and a copy of ASTRO IIDC and a focal reducer to give to James for his Macbook and now he gets to join the imagers and camera outreach guys with his new setup. Im looking forward to his first images!
His Lunt LS60 puts a full disk image right into the 1600 x 1200 FOV of the camera, rather nicely.
