20140921 Bad SHG results

Post by Wah »

Having not taken SHG images for quite a long time as I broke a prism inside during the disassemble.

I have my SHG fixed, but the results were bad.
It seems the camera was not cooperating with me and the frame rate varies while capturing the video...
Or maybe it was the problem from the EQ mount.

I will try to fix the problem next time.

Hi Wah.

Are you using the "high speed scan" by driving the mount in reverse?
If so, why don't you try the old fashioned approach with the mount turned off?
This would indicate whether or not you have problems with the mount drive.

Cheers.
Peter.

I definitely will try that in my next chance.
And I am sure that there was a problem to the camera as it produced the ladder-like effect .
