The sunspot activity may be very low (zero at the moment) but don't despair, there are still opportunities to see the aurora if you're planning a trip courtesy of coronal holes and fast flowing solar wind.
My magnetometer has been out of action for a while because of building work at home, but that's just about complete and my garage is now clear of building materials and the electrical supply no longer needs to be constantly switched on and off.... back to normality.
Here are my data over the past 24 hrs, clearly showing the arrival of fast flowing solar wind which impacted our magnetic bubble late yesterday evening. There might be more to come later today as this may be only just the start.
Thanks for looking.
Stu.

Fantastic Stu, I'm glad you are getting back to normal and getting some data in. I hope the improvements look good too and you are pleased with them and were worth the bother

Many thanks, Mark & Alexandra.
Things have settled down again geomagnetically speaking, and at home, although work is a bit hectic at the moment.
Alexandra, yes all worthwhile and when the new floor is laid this week it will look great. We're very pleased with it.
Cheers
