Raised solar wind speeds, increased particle density and a southerly magnetic orientation sparked a minor geomagnetic storm (G1, Kp5) which was detected on my magnetometer. The wind originated from a moderate coronal hole in the solar atmosphere, now rotating away from us.
Things have been pretty quiet of late.
Thanks for looking.
Stu.

Well caught Stuart clouded out here but then it doesn't get dark till after midnight anyway. I am still on the hunt for noctilucent clouds but I still haven't seen any. There was supposed to be lots last night but cloudy as usual.
