A minor geomagnetic storm was captured on my magnetometer this weekend.
The source was southerly magnetically oriented, fast flowing, solar wind from a coronal hole. It just goes to show that you don't require CME's to create geomagnetic unrest. Even a spotless, Sun can be geo-effective, creating beautiful aurora around the poles.
Thanks for looking.
Stu.

Minor but still worth viewing on your monitor, I think we need a bigger one to spot it naked eye though

Thanks for your comments, Mark and Alexandra.
These coronal holes keep on coming. You never know what the next one's going to bring.
