Hi all,
Some processed data from my radio meteor detector here in Lancashire, UK.
Target transmitter GRAVES space radar transmitter in France
Frequency 143.050 MHz (SDR tuned to 143.048 MHz)
Software Defined Radio (SDR)- NOOELEC
Three element YAGI antenna
Hourly rate calculated as rolling meteor count per hour over the period August 10th to 31st
Target meteor shower PERSEID
The Perseid shower is clear to see , with the hourly rate beginning to climb on August 10th, running through to 16th/17th, peaking over 12th/13th.
The background 'sporadic' detection rate appears to average around 10 counts per hour.
Thanks for looking.
Stu.
