Coronado diagonal ERF

Post by Moriniboy »

Just stripped the ERF out of the diagonal and as expected its failed so I have been checking out replacements from Maier

The Maier replacement does not have a glass element in front like the Coronado original one does (see photo), will this be a problem or was the glass element just to protect the ERF from prying fingers and damage?

Hi Nigel

a fine closeup of that ERF stack. You would have to run an UV/VIS spectrum in order to find out whitch part regulates which spectrum

Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)
