Lacerta Wedge plus Lunt diagonal

Hi all,
Because I for sure don't want to start my own Will it Burn topic, a question before I try it out.
One of the problems with my CaK images are the reflections. So tonight I was trying some different things. If you remove the nosepiece of the Lunt you can screw it directly to a Lacerta Herschel wedge. On the front of the Lunt diagonal it is possible to place a Baader K line filter.
So it would be like this:
1) Lacerta wedge, ND 3.0 removed
2) Baader K-Line
3) B600 Lunt CaK blocking filter.
3) PGR with the IMX 174.

How about it? Would it be safe to use? If I read Christian's post in the "393.4" thread I think it is. But better safe than sorry, so what do you think?
Thanks in advance, Bart.

Safe to use yes, lacking in a bit of light too. Why remove the front of the Lunt diagonal and replace with the wedge though? What are you trying to achieve?

Thanks Mark. I am curious if it leads to less reflections.

Post some pics with the reflections in, this will give an idea as to the source of them.

Hi Marc, deleted all those avi's. But there will be more. (-;
This weekend tried the Wedge plus prism. With a gain of 37%, so really high, the exposure time was 10 ms. Too much indeed....
