I added a new button on the posting window for various media

The "youtube" button allows you to directly embed the "embed" code from youtube into a post in here and will resize it to fit the screen. If you have a video on youtube you want to share, click the share button and then choose the embed button, copy the code and come over here and click the youtube button to insert it into the post and paste the embed code where the cursor is, in the middle of the BBCode tag...like this:


[youtube]<iframe width="640" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/RrTTsqyxiTY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>[/youtube]


the media button allows you to insert all sorts of media like sound clips, videos from any source, google maps, etc...

just insert the url of the media between the BBCode after you click the media button to see if it works

by the way, it is against Flikr's TOS for you to embed images on another forum...thats the main reason I don't use them...

What do you mean that Flickr won't allow you to embed? I do this all the time and they provide the BBcode to do so.

I was finding it difficult to embed an image from Flickr but I was not using the BBcode embed button of Flickr. I have now tried this and it works fine, so thanks for the hint Alexandra and thanks to Stephen for helping. All I need now is sunshine 8-)

sorry, I meant to directly embed without their code, which references back to their website if you click it.
