A good seeing after the storm !

Post by fjabet »

Hello all,

we had a storm in south of France end of last week.
After it was gone on saturday the sky was very clear (and the Moon almost full as always !) and the seeing was pretty good with some quiet moments under 1".

It was so nice that I finally decided to get the bino off and put the camera...

HaT 203mm, Solar Spectrum 0.3A and Basler acA1920-155um. Acquisition Genika Astro trigged by the SSM with a 0.7" threshold. Processing AS!2, Registax and PS CS6.

Frederic great views and love the setup and scenery.I often find the seeing good here either just before the front arrives then the next day when it clears.

Stunning results there Frederic! Your seeing is much better than mine, these are the conditions I dream of! My seeing is normally at best 1.5", 0.7" would be a record for me.

Wonderful images, Frederic. Too much turbulent air here to get anything close to this level of detail.
