Hallo!
I am back home after a wonderful 15 day trip to the US visiting friends in Oregon and Washington. We had our base outside Spray OR. Together with 500 children and adults we saw the eclipse under perfectly clear skies and no wind. This is my 7th eclipse but none are equal to the other and the environment is certainly different. Our last eclipse was at Svalbard at 78 deg N in - 20C (-4 F) and wind chill.

I came back yesterday and have not had time to look at all the pictures posted on the group, I must admit I had priority one processing my own pictures. But I am looking forward to see your experiences from the great American eclipse.
Best regards

Derek and Eric!
Thank you for the comments. I am trying to dig into the Pellet method but so far no presentable result

So glad you saw it! I was thinking of you as we had great weather in Oregon too. I also need to process my images and need to embark on trying to combine all the exposures, I'll have a go tonight

Mmm I've been trying all evening too, I was following Pedro's guidance notes and I get nothing like what he gets, I have no idea what I am doing wrong. We need to get the experts up to give a tutorial help as this is hard!
