Hey all,
Woke up to a clear sky for once and decent seeing. No clouds! What is going on? I'm not supposed to see the sky in the summer here in Florida. Anyhow, I woke up early and saw no clouds so ran out and had everything ready to go as the sun came up and grabbed data in several wavelengths while the sun was rising early this morning (around 9am). The seeing got better as it got closer to 10am, but that's also when clouds started to finally form and roll in. But I'll take a good 1 hour of clear sky anytime for solar, as I can image several FOV and wavelengths quickly from my dual saddle kit. Great activity with an active region with visible umbra (but unnamed, maybe a previous AR but fizzled out), and the two named sunspots AR2713 & AR2714. AR2714 has a larger visible umbra which is fantastic and it's pretty active. Hope to see someone else's timelapse of its activity and potential flaring.

Great set of images, Marty. Those close up CaK images are very nice indeed.
