Out with the old ... 19/06/2018

Post by DJD »

Dear All,
I have been busy replacing my ( very ) old dome that had got so fragile it was starting fracture
whenever I moved it.
Had a first light with the new dome this morining ( early doors ). I did not manage to beat the seeing
nor the incoming cloud, but at least it was proof of pudding.
I have also had to replace my old desktop for an i5 system with a new monitor.
I am trying to get used to the new monitor for processing, so may have over-processed in Imppg.
Best wishes,
David

Very nice close-up of the surface and congratulations on your new observatory (and computer), David.

The old one looks really sad, Dave.

Good solar images. Nicely done.

You look like you have a fabulous spot, are you on the moors? I bet you have to tie that dome down in winter?

The Sun image looks superbly processed, incredibly fine detail, spot on!

Thank you all.
