Solar images of February 16th

Post by krakatoa1883 »

Not much stuff to see today, however a nice filament and an associated plage area was visible in NE quadrant of the Sun. It looked prominent in my Quark Chromosphere so I decided to take an image through my Lunt-modified scope replacing the Lunt BF with the Quark. Between the PT module and the Quark I placed a 3x telextender (I removed the original telecentric).

In Calcium light there were no details apart the large NE plage. I used the 150mm reduced to 52mm for the full disc and my Celestron 100ED for the close up. No spots in WL.
