Does anybody else see the spots near the senter of the sun?
Just got my continum filter today, and they are clearly visible, but i can't ser them on spaceweather.com.

Tried another filter to make sure😃 must say i'm impressed by the baader continum filter , right now i'm using it on a 90/500 telescope , but will try it on my 120 refractor later.

Yes, spotted the little emerging flux region on GONG this morning. Seems to have formed on the southern edge of the northern coronal hole. Bright point and spot formation seems to be the norm on the edges of coronal holes this solar minimum.

Heya,

So far, no designation, if it's truly a new AR. But the little pores have some filaments traveling the magnetic field there with some minor plage area. So maybe it's a budding AR. Really small. But the little umbra are obvious in any wavelength and are large enough to see visually and very obvious on a camera. Looked great in HA & CaK this morning.

And here's another look, with a weird structure next to it.... can't tell if this was a filament or just a pattern in the spicules?
