Hi:
Well, we are in the rainy season but today I found some holes through clouds but not through the upper haze and got some images with the Solarmax 90-DS, with the 102Meade with the CaK mod and with the 102mm Stellarvue working at f/28 with an old Daystar T-Scanner filter,
Used the SKYnyx 2-2 and also tried the ASI290 for some shots.
The last 5 look better in another window.
Thanks for looking.
Eric.

These look good Eric! What are your impressions of the 290M compared to your other cameras?

A beautiful series, Eric. The large prominence shows a lot of fine detail.

Alexandra, Mark, Maurits and Franco:
Thanks for looking and commenting the shots.
Mark, this is my first try with the 290M and I liked it.
It is funny, Chris Go recommended it to me at NEAF, as also the 174M years ago when it came out, but had seldom used the 174M because had to learn other softwares to get it going.
I am used to the Lucam Recorder program since Heiko started it, so I just have cameras that work with it like the TIS, Lumeneras, etc., exception made of some other brands like ZWO, QSH, Skyris, etc, that I try to control with other softwares like FireCapture, Genika and others new and old.
For the 2 shots with the 290M I used FireCapture, but I still have to get used to the many tools it has, as also how to set correctly the Gamma, Gain, etc, etc, parameters, but I can say that the camera was working at 84 fps with no trouble, so it helps a lot as you can see with the detail in the prominences.
Best regards to all,
Eric.

Hi, Eric your prom, in the last few images, show some great detail, even if they are on a medium scale.
