Awesome!!

It's close ups like this I dream of. My Solarmax 60 just won't do it. At least visually.

Thanks Alexandra. Unfortunately the seeing condition has deteriorated with the haze from the plantation fires in Indonesia. Hopefully the fires will be under control soon.

Thanks Stu. The tuning on my PST etalon is uneven. It requires lots of patience to get a flat and evenly illuminated image. Some time ago, there was discussion in this forum on how to put in a gasket to improve the tuning. I hope to do that one of these days. Hopefully, I can get more easy and consistent tuning.

Thanks Maurits and Phil.

The haze condition has remained in >100 psi region. I am taking an extended break from solar imaging :)

Outstanding closeups Alfred! If you view it visually how much can you see?

Hi James,

Visually I can see a nice image. In fact I need it to get a good focus. I have attached a typical single frame image for your reference:

Very nice Alfred. That kind of resolution is beyond the equipment I have now. I was curious just how much you could see visually. Cameras and processing usually reveal more than the eye alone can.

Dear James,

I have not done visual observation. I will share my visual experience when the haze goes away.

Cheers.
