I missed last day's prom display dues to sky conditionsbut I had a chance to catch some remnants today. I used an LS152 for the images below.
I started the session trying to figure out why I wasn't seeing anything using this tried and proven setup until I checked the camera nosepiece and found
an IR pass (685nm) filter left behind from the last lunar session

Hi Lou,
You must be relieved you found the IR filter. Great close-ups.

Re: A day late and a penny short
Thanks, Alfred, for your comment.
I reached the point of almost panicking when I saw nothing but black. Then I started to check if my ERF cover was still on, to see if the solar finder was misaliged whether the secondary mirror had cracked, and whether the extension tubes had anything stored in them since sometimes, black dust plugs will roll into them. I felt dumb when I found the problem. It shows the importance of putting things in their place.

Good proms Lou! That IR cut would be a trouble maker in the scheme of things I can imagine

Re: A day late and a penny short
Correction: The filter in question was a 685nm IR pass filter that cut below 685nm, including Ha.

Hi Lou...
Very nice set of prom images
I know how it feels to have something like that foul up the session. More than once I have missed removing the clear plastic bags that acts as a dust cap on the CR-150, can spend all kinds of time curing the fact the scope wont focus
