I have some neighbors with a business in an industrial zone.
This of course is always accompanied by light pollution, but in a minimum extent.
When I watch in the evening some nebulae , I always have the correct filters for this kind of observation, regardless the light pollution.
So this weekend a neighbour comes to me asking if I can use something about observation material for my setup.
I immediately thought of a Cak filter, because usually I'm looking to the Sun, but I said this is a lot of money.
I could hardly believe it but I got a free LUNT LS6CAKMDS2 CA-K FILTER IN EXTENSION TUBE.
This is as a compensation for the little light pollution.
I can use this with my little scope, but now for daytime SUN observation and imaging.
I wanted this story to share with you in order to show that there are still good people there.
Lucky me ...

Hi Maurits,
WOW that is a nice present ~ Euro € 1,200.00
I would be happy if my neighbour cuts down the infamous Palm tree

Agreed! That is wonderful.
I also picked up much expensive equipment in response to my prayer request on the prayer chain. Someone saw my request and I had new equipment for Astro ministry in a week.

Re: Lucky me ...
That’s awesome, Maurits. I have to get myself some upgraded neighbors!
Looking forward to some of the images you manage to get with that. Once the weather here in Belgium decides to cooperate that is.
