Check out this animation, showing activity from the SDO AIA304 channel. Look at the 10 o'clock position how a small emerging flux region develops. Given the latitude my money is on it being cycle 25...

Hrm, current magnetogram shows polarity from what I can see of cycle 24 unless I'm mistaken?

Looks like cycle 25 as it is negative / positive in the northern hemisphere, because the old spot is negative Positive but it is in the southern hemisphere. OK, I do not know how exact the distribution is when being very near the Equator.

I would be surprised if it were cycle 24 that far north. We are now getting weekly activity, good times are coming
