April 6 2020 Observations

Post by DeepSolar64 »

All,
Skies are mostly clear here today in western North Carolina. Seeing is decent.

Coronado SolarMax II 60 DS. 16x, 21.5x, 33x and 50x. ( Ha )
One small prominence seen at the limb not far from the AR. The AR itself shows itself divided by a filament which is not to hard to see. I see three other filaments on the disk. One to the north of the active region and two in the solar southern hemisphere.

Orion 70mm Solar Telescope. 25x and 50x. ( WL )
No spots or pores seen. Granulation hinted at.

James
