Quiet sun today September 6, 2020

Post by ffellah »

Hello all: a quick session this morning with what I thought was a fairly quiet sun. I could see a filament and a tall prominence in the shape of a flame.

Only a couple of images. Solarmax 90SS with PG Flea 3 camera.

Great image of the prom Franco...well done :bow

I should have tried the prom earlier in the day, but the skies turned milky with thin cirrus cloud and this was a lost cause. Nice to see others managed to catch it!

I caught this prom earlier today. I call it the " middle finger prom ". These are excellent images Franco. I love the eclipse look but I think I have said that before.

Well Franco considering how quiet the Sun is, you've shown the "middle-finger" prom out well...
I like the presentation colours too...

Thanks
Terry
