Quadrantids January 3 2021

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

A lot of Quadrantids detected in both RMO stations here in central Mexico in the Town of San Luis Potosi. As you can see the stations are quite synchronized.

Excellent, Rainer. A good close match between stations. Did you do something to your system to reduce the number of detections, or is it as it was before?

Stu.

H-alpha, WL and Ca II K imaging kit for various image scales.
Fluxgate Magnetometers (1s and 150s Cadence).
Radio meteor detector.

Hi Stu,

Thanks and no, I did not do anything to my station so the high numbers we were talking about some time ago are real. I think it was the Geminids.

Another Guy in Mexico Salvador Aguirre detected 614 at 16:00 hours UTC on December 3rd which is 10:00 hours Mexico local time and that fitted into the forecast of meteor news for 10:00 hours local time ...
