Coronado SolarMax II 90 DS. 32x, 44.5x and 64x. ( Ha )
The Sun is calm in Ha but there are still some detail to be seen. The SE quadrant shows three easy large filaments. The eastern one curves northwest into an arc. Two bright prominences are on the limb there. They look like bright projections with fuzzy edges. A very short distance above the northernmost of the two bright proms I see another small fainter very thin prominence rising up and curling southward and then back down a bit. It resembles a short walking cane! I see another tiny prom well north of these three. The SE quadrant shows a slightly different texture than most of the disc.
The NW Quadrant shows two bright prominences on the limb and a tiny fainter one. The northernmost one curves slightly southward. I see a dark filament nearby, intersecting the limb very near the northernmost prom. I don't see any connection between the two which would have made it a filaprom.
I see a small faint filament in the NNE not far off the pole.
I see a single easy short rounded prom in the SW with two tiny fainter ones nearby. I also see a slight roughness to the disc in the SW quadrant. I see two small filaments here too!
The discwide spicule mottling of the chromosphere is easily seen today with good contrast.

I can see faculae in both the SE and SW quadrants of the disc. One tiny patch of the larger patch in the SE is fairly easy to see and is very near the limb. I see no spots or pores anywhere on the disc. I can see the fine granulation of the solar disc today.
All while listening to monastic chant on Pandora.
