Hi everyone...
I have not had many clear sunrises of late, so it was nice to catch the sun as it rose this morning. I was out early to clear snow and grabbed this pic with my cell phone as the sun started to make an appearance:
It was also the coldest morning we have had so far this winter, but even -19C is a lot better than more seasonal January mornings Here is a shot of my weather station at the time I took the sunrise pic:
Will be heading to the observatory shortly to do some imaging!

Re: Crisp Sunrise
Keep warm Brian with that outside temperature - phew that is well freezing. I suspect you are used to it.
Excellent clear view and the image too.

Re: Crisp Sunrise
Rainer, Alexandra, and Terry...
Thanks for the feedback on my sunrise this morning
Terry...we have been spoiled by much warmer weather than usual this winter. We are in for a a few days of more 'normal' weather if the weather forecast is to be believed.
There was a lot of solar details this morning, but the seeing was not good at all in the cold.

Re: Crisp Sunrise
Thanks again Brian.
Indeed the recent weather here in the U.K. for winter-months has been slightly warmer than should be, with far too much rain/flooding, but is now much colder with temps around freezing or below and the weather-radar is now showing snow converging from S.W.England and about to occur over my location in S.E.England at any moment.
Although I can't do any Solar-imaging at present, I will at least post a photo of that snow-fall...
Keep warm and well
Terry
