CME side swipe.... 2nd August 2021

The Sun recently released a few Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs). Mostly these missed Earth, until yesterday when one gave our magnetic field a nudge, creating geomagnetic unrest detectable on magnetometers around the globe, including my own here in the UK.

Here are my data which I collected through the whole event:

Absolutely, Mark. Cycle 25 needs to pick up somewhat. A few more juicy active regions with CMEs thrown in the mix :)
