August 15 2021 AR's, big prom Ha C11

Post by LeoD »

Hi all,

Today I enjoyed a GOOD seeing, SSM was showing quite optimstic figures right for hi-res with C11! I had only 1 hour before the arrival of cirrus clouds. Сompared to yesterday, the most important and really good thing that it was windy. When the wind was relatively light, it was great, when it was getting stronger, the setup was shaking too much.
Since yesterday, this monstrous prominence has not decreased at all, and I had to make picture of 2 frames again.
Setup: Aries ERF+C11+Quark+reducer+174mm.

regards
Leo

My congratulations, Leo!

Perfect prominences images! And the AR looks absolutely amazing.

Wow Leo, that's a brilliantly excellent long-prom image and all are also excellent.

Thanks for sharing

My goodness these are good :hamster: :bow :hamster: I also think a light wind is good, I find it clears the surface turbulence for a moment and shakes it away. Strong wind, that is another matter, that is just destructive.
