Versus our most recent 300mm Canon lens update viewtopic.php?p=306081#p306081, we exchanged the 50mm x 50mm 1800 l/mm ruled grating with a 30mm x 30mm 2400 l/mm holographic grating. This increases the contrast (while reducing the amount of light).
Acquisition parameters: camera ASI 290MM; 0.87ms exposure; gain 0; 331 fps; ROI 1600x100; binning 1x1; 3520 frames; 32x sidereal rate scan (Vixen GP2); Y/X ratio 0.925. Taken 8 Sept 2021, 11:20 UT, London.

There's has been some improvement optimising SHG hardware -- and a lot of recent improvement in the software.
