October 31, 2021 Sun in Lunt50 mod

Post by Ivan »

Hello everyone,

Based on the weather forecast and deteriorating visibility, this was my last session of the season. Well, all good things come to an end sooner or later.

I filmed three sessions in the hope of collecting the mosaic, two of them went to the basket and only the third attempt I left with some reservations. The sun at the time of shooting was at an altitude of about 18 degrees, this is an hour and a half before sunset.

The Low Sun brought a long-awaited (I was hoping for it during the season, but there were only balloons and birds) little surprise. The airways of fairly rare aircraft and the disk of our beloved star crossed with at my vantage point. Sorry for the angle, in fact, the plane is flying almost parallel to the ground, it's in my camera.

I used the rest of the material for small presentations showing the evolution of AR12891, AR12887 and the beautiful levitating prom in the northeast in about two hours of filming.

Well done Ivan on all the excellent images and the aeroplane too..
Aeroplane-transits are often seen in the images at apparent weird-angles, so not unusual.

Thanks for sharing and hopefully might see more images from you sooner or later..

Thanks for sharing
Terry

It’s definitely getting more and more difficult in the north as the seasons progresses. You’ve done a great job….and a transit too.

A very good session Ivan, in spite of the low sun. Love all the images and the animation.
