AR 2909 Group WL 16-12-2021

Post by Martin_S »

The AR 2909 group is still putting on a great show Here's a quick image taken this morning in Brisbane, just before the atmosphere started boiling in the summer heat.

I used my 102mm f/10 achromat with ND 3.8 astrosolar film , 2x Barlow IRcut , OIII filter and a UHC filter along with my ASI 290mm camera.

I still have around 2000 images to sort from todays session, so it looks like I'll have a busy evening.

Martin.

Congrats of the SPoD Martin, it's a great shot of the new active regions that recently rounded the limb.
