Icy Morning 19/12/21

Post by DJD »

Clear morning and sun not risen over the hillside at approx 8:00am.
A couple of very static contrails and a colourful cloud in the early morning blue made for
an interesting view.
Best wishes,
David

Superb colours in the cloud :bow what a marvellous sight :hamster: Is that what it is like up there :)

Think of me down on the Cheshire plain sat in thick fog all day :(

Hi,
I thought those were plane trails ? I see them in London all the time. One day, whole areas of sky was filled with plane trails. I wanted to photograph it but I was working from home, so did not have time..

Contrails and plane trails are the same thing. Condensation forms into cloud as the plane passes through the air at high altitudes. Mid-upper Troposphere and lower stratosphere.
