Pedro,
I love these comparison shots, big thank you for them.
I am a bit out of touch with the use of filters for lunar work.
Do you have a link on why people are using the different types of filter with
their scopes. Is it the scope or the camera driving the choice ?
Best wishes,
David

Thanks guys

David: I usually use a Baader IRPass filter with an apo refractor and a Baader Ha 35nm or 7nm with a achromatic refractor. Usually the seeing is better in the red part of the spectrum. For HR I usually do not use any filter with an apo, and it helps to use a camera with a a high frame rate (e.g. ASI174MM). This time I used my workhorse - PGR GRASSHOPPER 3 GS3-U3-28S4M

Hi Pedro !
Very nice looking Moons !!!

I have an achromatic 90mm and also 120mm; with the 35nm H-alpha Baader 2 inch filter, how much does the exposure increase to ? I think without filters the exposure is less than 1 ms, and with filters ?
What bandpass IR do you have ? I think the ASI 462C is very good for IR sensitivity. There are so many IRPass filters !!!
