Re: New camera
Oh !! That's a difficult question to answer, as depends not only on any particular camera, rather also the telescope, Barlow's in use etc etc.

Re: New camera
Hi,... which camera does not suffer from Newton ring ...
This is something which needs to be adressed by the chip producer IMHO.
I have 3 cameras from the brand Lumenera, two of them B&W cameras and one, Infinity 2-1R M suffers from very strong narrow spaced Newton rings and not even tilting the camera they disappear while the other my reliable Infinity 2-2M does snot show anything. Two different chips.
So here they were mentioned some cameras which suffer from Newton rings and some do not. I do not remember which has Newton rings.

Re: New camera
I have the ASI174 and it is fine on some scopes and terrible in other combinations of barlows and filter. Hit and miss.

Re: New camera
I have used a zwo and basler version of 174. They both showed NR when used with Barlow.

Re: New camera
Hi everyone...
I am curious to know if you use the built in tilt adjuster on the camera to cure the NR's in Ha, will it adversely affect the images if you use it (tilted) with other filters like CaK/WL or will the tilt need to be re-set to zero?
I have always removed the Daystar tilt unit on mine when I switch from Ha.

Re: New camera
I with the asi 120mm I tilted the sensor by a couple of mm, I'm using it both in HA (PST) and in WL (refractor 70/900) and I have no problems, with or without Barlow
