Saturday halo

Post by Ivan »

I saw it by accident. Usually I came across sunny dogs, now my collection has replenished with a halo.

Hi Ivan,

Very good. Sun and Moon Halos IMHO have increased over the last few years. ¿ Climate change ?

That's so beautiful Ivan :hamster: if I could just see the Sun it would be amazing, we have been battered and battered by storms in the past week it is pretty awful even by UK standards.

How is you wife? she has been ill for a while so I hope that she is starting to recover now ;)

Hi Reiner.
I observed such phenomena mainly in winter or late autumn. I have also read that quite often halos precede cyclones. Perhaps in global terms there is some connection between the halo and warming, the only question is how strong it is.

PS
Congrats on SPoD!

Thanks Alexandra,
She has almost recovered.
I wish you a clear sky, let all the storms and clouds go away.
