Wonderful images and animation :bow :hamster: :movie

I too get those lines randomly and occasionally, you are not alone. I am not sure what they are but they are frustrating. I only ever get them when doing hi-res ;) I am not sure if it is caused by the stacking software.

hello Alexandra,
no, these lines are parasites that appear when you check the gamma on Firecapture, I have 2 ASI 174MM and they do exactly the same thing after a few minutes with the latest versions (2.7.08 and 2.7.10), that does it also with a QHY 5 290MM
I have just been confirmed by another amateur who did a test with these 2 cameras and bingo!!! him too .
This with 3 different PCs (1 I7-7700 laptop, an i5-8400 tower and I5-3470 mini tower)
I sent an email to Torsten, but he doesn't seem to believe my problem, it's true that I take shots over several hours and that this problem doesn't always occur at the same time, but he I happen to put hours and hours of film in the trash.
I have to switch to an older version of Firecapture (2.6), but the i/s rate is really very low.
Sorry if you do not understand my message, I do not master your language at all (a scandal when I think that my daughter is an English teacher and masters it perfectly after many stays in the USA).

Great shots Paul! I’ll sometimes see frames that look like your 4th example. You can eliminate having these frames from being used in Autostakkert by going through the frames and tapping the space bar to mark them as garbage. I have wondered if it is the camera itself as I have never seen these with my Skyris 236M, just the ASI174MM. I haven’t seen this issue in a while though and didn’t change anything (at least that I can remember!)

Hello and thank you all,

which version of firecapture are you using, with 2.6 no problem just 2.10 , eliminating frames with space is fine for a film, but my animations have several dozen or even a few hundred .SER files, too many for me.
