A quick H-alpha session in the afternoon

Post by cmas »

I only had time to image in the afternoon while I prefer morning due to much better seeing. It's been cloudy here lately and I was hoping to image this active area 1 or 2 days ago to get a nice 3D like effect close to the limb, but no luck. The full size image is a bit soft but I think it's still ok. Click for imaging details and larger image.

H-alpha: Baader D-ERF, Sharpstar 61 EDPH II, Altair Astro 102 f/7, Quark, reducer and ASI174mm.
White light: Baader ASSF 115, Sony SEL 200600G, Sony SEL20TC, Sony A7iii.
