Crescent Moon - 5th July

Post by marktownley »

I've been missing the sun being at work, so on Tuesday evening I decided to have a look at the crescent moon in the western evening sky. Seeing was ropey compared to my mooning earlier in the year, but nice to get a shot. Taken with the APM 100/800 and ZWO183mm camera.

Just nice to be out with the scope!

That's a really neat Moon shot :hamster: :bow

I'd like to catch the full Moon if possible as it is a super Moon this month I think :)

Nice shot, Mark. Great processing as well; I like the "earthy" colour tones.

Thanks Y'all!

It's a monochrome image that was coloured in sepia tone then slightly desaturated Jochen.
