I just tried my Quark Chromosphere on my Solarmax II 60 scope with a regular prism diagonal and this double stacking arrangement does improve contrast. However the view is not nearly as good as my Solarmax II 60 + pre-Meade SM40 front etalon and BF15 with Maier ITF.
What if I removed the Quark's telecentric and mounted it into the Coronado diagonal from my SM90II? The diagonal seems to only have RG glass because the BF30 is inside the SM90II scope. Would this produce a better result? I don't have a security Torx driver to decouple the telecentric.
Double stack Quark with Solarmax II 60 scope?

No, that wont work. The Quark needs the telecentric to operate.
