Sun in Whitelight 14th July 2022

Post by steveward53 »

Good morning everybody ...

Sorry I've not been about for a while , a combination of blank discs for years , major life upheavals and the fact that I plumb forgot about this forum meant that I've been neglecting to share my meagre whitelight discs with you.

Had a nervous wait for the fog to clear first thing with clouds approaching apace , but boy was it worth the sweat , when it cleared it was steady as a rock up there and I grabbed a few hundred frames for a change as opposed to the dozen or so that I've been limited to of late.

Still using the same set-up of Canon EOS1000D + Tal 100rs + 1.8x Barlow , Baader ND3.8 film + Oiii filter . 111 frames played with in PIPP , AS!3 , Reg5 and Gimp.

Steve,
I find white light photosphere as the base of solar observing and imaging. I don't do Facebook so post some here. These look really good!!
