Nice! I wonder how do you get that filaments much more visible, is it due to a difference in hardware or only in treatment?
I use an APO 102 triplet with a Daystar Quark combo + barlow, thus it gives something around f/d 16 or 17. My stacked image looks like this:

I don't know why mine has more contrast, maybe it is your camera ? What is the pixel size of your camera sensor.
I am happy to help you, it may take a bit of time to work out.
Mine looks like this after stacking...I had tests done to find out where to place the sun in the field of view. I suspect my optical train is not truly centered correctly, may be due to sagging in the tubes/optical train.
Here it is (in .jpg format), the video is stacked in AS!3..

Is your Quark on band [calibrate your Quark.., mine is best for disc detail at +2 or +3 (+ is clockwise from the 12 oçlock centre dial point).

Did you calibrate your image with "flats" [flat frame] first of all before imaging in Firecapture ?
I don't have a Quark Combo, just the Quark Chromosphere (x4.3 internal barlow) .
Maybe some of the experts here like Mark Townley, Alexandra, Pedro, Maurits, etc..may have the answer.

BTW, what's good with astronomy is we always have something to learn :-) Starting from the same stack I gave a try to the deconvolution of IMGPP and it gave me much better result that what I achieved until now using Astrosurface! So here is a much better defined version of the same picture:

OK thanks! Obviously I dont have the same contrast at capture - so its a question of HW, not processing.
Position 1 is the better for me... means the best one would be even lower, probably :-/ OR maybe its a question of F/D and focale? I use a telecentric barlow but its only x3. I calculated arround f/15 or f/16 which is said to be the lower limit for Daystar. Maybe I could try with a x4 ou x5 one (but I wont have the full disc anymore :-/)Hi Luca,
