We were on a ferry in the English channel, I wish I could find the rest of the slides and the video i took that day.

I was there in Cornwall too with my hubby and mother. It was cloudy :( it was great to see the shadow coming and going though, and the atmosphere of thousands along the cliffs was a once in a lifetime experience. I've no idea where my pictures are of us stood in the dark. At least you saw it!!!

I agree Alexandra, even if cloudy was a lifetime experience. We had loads of people in the white paper body suits pop up and start dancing and shouting about the forthcoming apolocalylse at the time of totality appear (no signs of all this beforehand) which made it all that bit different too :lol:

A couple of days after my brother was practising handbrake turns down there his car in (some random) field and crashed it into a wall and had a freak out as he'd only had the car a couple of months. It was all good fun and we modged the car to a fix (only a few bits dropped off).

It was all good fun though! :lol:
