So far the DERF that im testing out is giving good results. Hard to tell if the images themselves have any improvements but i had noticed that scope is cooler. Usually at the end of my session, my scope is pretty hot to the touch, but with the DERF, I can place my hands on it and feel that it is cooler.

Stunning!
I'm quite new here, sorry if it is a know thing but what is your full setup? How do we get full disk with such a fine definition + nice contrasts? :-)

All good, its a Sky-Watcher EvoStar 150, Daystar Quark with a PST mod, a front mount DERF that i am currently testing and a Player One Apollo Max camera.

Re: Aug 12 2022 - One full disk
Ho OK! So its a mosaïc, right? Because the PO Apollo Max resolution is much lower than your picture's dimensions, plus the sensor seems quite small to get the full disc with 1200 focal lenth These times I had difficulties to keep a full disc in my sensor while having enough F/D for the Quark, that's why I try to understand :-)
BTW, what is a PST mod?

Nice pictures.
I do not look at the sky with the eyes of an astronomer, but of a person looking for the beauty of nature.
