Hello
I took a picture of Sun in my new Magnesium I (b2) Line quark filter on 2022.09.02.
This was my second time of taking a picture of Sun in Mg filter, however I like this filter.
I have used only H-alpha filter for observation of Sun before I got Mg filter.
However this Mg filter can allow me that I can see other face of Sun.
So, now I am considering to purchase other Quark filter, Cal-H or Sodium-D.
I've observed Sun via Cal-K filter of Lunt, it was really amazing.
But I've never observed Sun via Sodium-D filter before.

Thanks

Nice shot there Kim!
Have you tried doing shots using different settings on the dial - a side by side comparison of the same subject? I don't think this has been done with a Mg quark before...

Until now, I took a picture with only one setting. I also would like to compare shots with different dial settings.
I will post about it after taking a picture with different dial settings.
Thanks
