Surprise surprise, the sun broke out! 9/5/2022

Post by rigel123 »

Not for long and clouds refused to totally move away and seeing was rough midafternoon but I caught some images with the quick set up on the Vixen Port-A-Mount and I caught quite an eruption at AR3089 on the Western Limb. It did not last more than 10 minutes. No animation so just a 3 frame tryptych as well as a full disk and some other interesting areas.

Full Disk (eruption at AR3089 is pretty obvious!)

I think this full disk was more centered in the sweet spot. It is tough to get everything aligned the way you want when you aren't using a tracking mount! Also tried some color which I don't do very often.
