My session time was from 14:35 until 15:05 UTC. The skies are clear with just below average seeing. The temperature is a mild 68F ( 20C ) I chose to full disc image today using my Coronado SolarMax II 60 in doublestack for chromosphere and my Orion70 using the 540nm filter for photosphere. The camera used was the PGR Grasshopper with ASTRO IIDC running on the MacBook Pro. I had a lot of noise issues that reduced the sharpness of the images that I did not notice during the session. My guess is that I had a camera parameter out of adjustment.
The SE prom looks like the head and neck of a dragon!!

Excellent images, and great session report, James! I also like the coloring of image #5 blackout - it reminds me of what I actually see in the eyepiece. And man, that prom is just wild looking!

Thanks Maurits and Alexandra. Some would say that the pretty colors help hide the imperfections in my images which is probably true. I look at it as a way of improving them.
