Solar full disk mosaic from 20220711
Hi to all
I've just prepared a solar mosaic (29 panels) from july (20220711), made with my WO FLT132 and a SolarSpectrum SO1 filter.
Full resolution images are on:

WOW! That's fantastic Sergio.
Zooming in, I can see the surface froth rolling around the edge of the limb.
Great shot(s).

Thank you. In the future I hope to go on higher diameter/focal. I would like to try a 100 or more panel mosaic with a higher resolution. It will be a challenge for my computer

Hi Sergio,
No disrespect Sergio, but I personally do not see the advantage of more resolution....
I am afraid it is more electricity, more global warming and destruction...
Apologies.
Magnus

Assembling 29 panels is quite a hige work. Well done !
I would suggest reducing the overall contrast. It is a bit too much on my screen. Maybe, you could try something halway between your first version and Arne's image :

Just my two cents...

Thank you. Also for me it’s a bit too contrasted on my telephone screen, less on my computer, much less on the laptop screen… I should try to use an higher gamma value at shot time and reduce the post processing.christian viladrich wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 4:40 pm Assembling 29 panels is quite a hige work. Nice disk! Same advice from me, back off on the contrast.

Re: Solar full disk mosaic from 20220711
I think I need a much larger screen to really appreciate the full resolution image, but scanning around there are some nice details, and I agree about taming the contrast just a tad.

That's a very impressive mosaic Sergio!
Very well carried out! I'm also supporter of backing of the contrast slightly.
Best regards,
Arne
